Nicola Flood - Chatty Families
For 29 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a speech and language therapist, supporting children and young people with a diverse range of speech, language, and communication needs. My passion lies in empowering children, young people, and their families to build strong connections through the power of communication.
I have extensive experience working across different settings, helping children develop in confidence to express themselves, engage with others, and navigate their world with clarity. My approach blends speech and language therapy expertise with relational models that recognize the profound impact of communication in shaping relationships and emotional well-being.
I am trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) Levels One and Two and currently a DDP Practitioner in Training. Helping families build stronger relationships. Giving voice to shared experiences to foster understanding, trust, and connection
We are based in North West Leicestershire and serve families and children in the surrounding areas.
